Guest: Scott “Old Navy” Hults
Bio: Scott joined the U.S. Navy Reserve as a junior in High School eventually entering the service as a recruit in 1960. While on active duty, he served on board an aircraft carrier operating off of Vietnam. After leaving active duty, Scott went on to college earning his Bachelors and then Masters degree. Upon the receipt of his Masters degree, the Navy offered him a commission in the Navy Reserve, a call which Scott accepted serving humbly for the next 27 years and retiring as Navy Captain in 2003 one rank below Admiral.

Birthed in Colombia and bred in the San Francisco Bay Area, Oakland-based Antioquia makes music that inspires raucous dancing and deep listening. With influences ranging from Mahavishnu Orchestra to Primus, Antioquia’s primary mission is to unite humans in the healing act of dance through a genre that they have dubbed, “Afro-Colombian Psychedelic Lovefunk.” Their earnest let-it-all-hang-out stage presence encourages the same from the audience, creating a feedback loop that builds momentum as standers-by are sucked into the dance floor.

You have heard her unique voice all over US television from global ad campaigns like Hilton Hotels, Diet Sprite and TheLadders commercial featuring her sexy song “Desire” to hit TV shows like Grey’s Anatomy (ABC), Human Target (FOX) and Ugly Betty (ABC) with her more up beat quirky anthems like “Wanna Fly”. Her name is VASSY and this mysterious dark haired beauty was born and raised in the tropics of Australia and hails from her parent’s Mediterranean roots that lend to her exotic look and unusual sound.
