WHO: Emanuel “Manny” Washington Jr. is known as the “Firefighting Chef.” He appeared on FOX’s popular competitive reality series “MasterChef” as well as runner-up on the most recent season of “Food Network Star” this past summer. Chef Manny introduces Orlando flavor to homes across the country and loves to come up with twists on classic homestyle recipes for his firehouse family. As an 11-year Lieutenant and Paramedic for the City of Orlando Fire Department, Chef Manny has dedicated his career to keeping people safe, but that doesn’t stop him from cooking for his whole fire station. Whether putting out fires as a Lieutenant or lighting up the grill, Chef Manny always brings the heat.
