Book info: This is a children’s book that centers around one of the most exciting and creative
holidays for children. Halloween! The book takes place on October 31 st and spans over the course
of a few years where children will get to know Abigail and the other witch and warlock children of
Transylvania. Abigail, the most precocious little witch of them all, wishes to attend the mortals
Harvest Festival so that she can bring back mortal treats to share with all of Transylvania. She and
her friends love to attend the Harvest Festival because they get to dress up and play games all
while feeling just like all the other children.

This is a story about the power of imagination and family traditions as the reader is brought on a
yearly journey with Abigail and her friends to her favorite time of the year. It allows the reader to
join Abigail while she learns about new things, the history of the traditions as well as discovering
who she really is. It shows how one little girl’s imagination changed the yearly tradition of the
Harvest Festival. So put on your witch’s hat and pick up your broom as you get ready to join
Abigail on her adventures and find out just how the Switch Witch Came To Be!

Meet Dr. Antoinette Corley-Newman, Ph.D.
Dr. Antoinette Corley-Newman is a clinical psychologist who is dedicated to helping people heal
from trauma. She believes strongly in the importance of an active imagination and its ability to
improve and maintain one’s mental health. This belief feeds her passion to create mystical
children's fairytales that are fun to read while staying connected to their innocence regardless of
age. Also wanting to assist individuals in their journey to heal through rediscovery of core truth
and speaking out loud, Antoinette creates books that speak to the individual’s complete mind,
body and soul.
Antoinette holds a PhD in clinical psychology and specializes in reproductive health, adoption,
PTSD, and grief and loss. She has served as an active Board member for the Cystic Fibrosis
Foundation (Orange County), Peace Over Violence (formerly Los Angeles Assaults Against
Women), Clackamas Women’s Services, Boo2Bullying Foundation and a Board Advisor for The
Youth EmpowHERment Sleepover. Today, Antoinette serves on the advisory committee of her
children’s charity organization, GraceGives.org.
