About Lou Leonard
As Senior Vice President of the Climate and Energy Program, Lou is WWF’s strategic leader on work to fight climate change and usher in a zero-carbon, climate-resilient world, powered by renewable energy. In his role, Lou has been instrumental in building and launching “We Are Still In”, a movement of over 2600 businesses, mayors, governors, higher education and faith leaders supporting the Paris agreement. Lou previously served as WWF’s director of U.S. climate policy, leading the organization’s work to support a new climate and clean energy law for the U.S., as well as building WWF’s program on forests & climate change.
