Easter Egg Hunt Turns Violent

Have the adults of America fell victim to jealousy or a “me first” agenda? Is this the same percentage of society to blame for the amounts of inconsiderate children?

An Easter egg hunt organizer compared pushy parents to locusts after the hunt turned into a shoving match at the visitor center of candy company Pez. Saturday’s event in Orange, Connecticut, drew hundreds of people, some of whom ignored the rules and didn’t wait for the starting time.

Reports say people “rushed the field and took everything at an event where organizers placed more than 9,000 eggs on three fields with the intention of having staggered start times for each age group. Unfortunately, parents didn’t wait.

Dr. Faye Wilson, World Traveler and Social Media Strategist, can elaborate on this senseless situation and how the world has changed. Its views on respect and opinions on waiting your turn seem to be in serious question. Is this a path our world continues to drive down?
