Listen HERE
female singer/author
known as Big Benji, originally from Thailand but speaks perfect
English.
2nd guest, female singer/author Benchavan Shale,
known as “Big Benji,” (call her that throughout interview)…
call her at 310-621-3879
The next international best-selling author could well be a super
talent born and raised in Thailand but who moved eventually to the
U.S. where she now lives with her husband, Lee, in Glendale,
Calif…she is Benchavan Shale, but everybody calls her “Big Benji,” and
so will we…
She was a singer in her native Thailand…now she’s a Thai-American,
brilliant entertainer, hilarious comedian, gracious TV personality and
even a jewelry designer…
Her mission is to spread a legacy of love, laughter and a happy full-filled
life…
Her writing skills these days are embellished with a co-writer, her daughter
Natalee Shale…several publishers are interested in publishing their
literary works, “My American Dream,” “Born in Thailand, Blossomed
in the U.S.A.”
Also to be scooped up by a lucky publisher are these titles, “Black Ice,”
“The Treacherous Road to Olympic Figure Skating Glory.”
And there’s more, a sure winner entitled “Love and Peace: The Power of God–
The Strength of Love”…wotta great line-up.
Big Benji, tell us about growing up in Thailand–did you have lofty ambitions in
show business or in the literary world as a youngster…when did you think you
would come to America?
How did you get involved in writing with your daughter?
How many children to you have? what are their special talents?
What about your husband Lee? I hear he’s quite a guy, a real inspiration for you
to get you moving forward in the literary world? What are his secrets to success?
What is your normal day like these days in Glendale, California?
Do you think in English first in your writing or is it in Thai language?
How can you combine the two?
When will be your next visit to Thailand?
Do you feel you need professional editing witgh your writing?
How did you get involved in the jewelry business? What was that like?
Good luck, Big Benji, with all your endeavors, not just in the literary field.
