Author, Life Transformation CoachRalph Peterson says Rush Limbaugh saved his life

I got out of the car, slamming the door harder than I should have, and lit a cigarette (“because we are all going to die of something…”). Then it began to snow. I remember laughing through gritted teeth. “Of course!” I yelled. I opened the hood and knew that I just had to wait for the car to cool down and then it would start again. I got back in the car, turned the key backward and searched the radio dial.

“…If you don’t like where you are in your life, then move. If you don’t like your career, or you don’t know anything else, then go back to school and learn something. Get a new skill, a new job… heck, a new career.

You live in the greatest country in the world. You can do and have and be anything and everything you want…”

I had no idea who was talking on the radio and would later learn that the guy’s name was Rush Limbaugh. I had never heard of him before and more importantly, I had never heard anyone talk like him.–Communities Digital News
