S IT OBAMA’S ECONOMY YET?: Expert Lays the Miserable Facts on the Table

We are just weeks away from what many consider to be one of the most defining-moment elections in our nation’s history.

Just in case voters are still treating this year like any other, waiting until now, at the 11th hour, to pay attention, MBA, seasoned tax expert and retired 20 year criminal investigator with the IRS, Michael Vilardi, is available for interviews to lay the Obama economy out in simple terms.

Where Vilardi begins is where Obama begins, with the Bush administration. After all, even the most disconnected voters have heard Obama’s tune before—how he “inherited” an economic catastrophe and needs more time to fix it right.

The problem with this plea, however, is that the trend lines on virtually every economic barometer have gone down on Obama’s watch.

Since Inauguration Day, January 2009, unemployment has gone up from 7.8% to 8.3% …the U.S. credit rating has been downgraded from AAA to AA…gasoline prices have gone up from $1.81 to $3.69 …the national debt from $10 trillion to $16 trillion …both federal spending and our budget deficit as a percent of GDP are the highest since WWII.

Home ownership rate? Down. …Mortgage foreclosures? Up. …Food stamps and poverty? Up. …Personal income and the % of eligible taxpayers paying taxes? Down.
…Bankruptcies? Up. …New business startups? Down. …And the maddening list go on.

So, what is Obama’s plan for the next four years? …Raise taxes.

Find out why these issues spell doom for the American economy, if we really are driving headlong toward a fiscal cliff, and what new leadership must do to change this wretched course and preserve America’s status as an economic superpower.

ABOUT YOUR GUEST, MICHAEL VILARDI:

Michael Vilardi is a retired IRS criminal investigator, having left that position in August 2010, after 22 years of admirable service. At that point, he became an enrolled agent and started the tax division at the Protection Law Center in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, in July of 2011. After helping many people solve their tax issues with the IRS, Vilardi decided to go out on his own and started Mike Vilardi, LLC, where he deploys his unique set of skills and knowledge about the ins and outs of the IRS to serve anyone with a serious tax issue.

Vilardi was born in Brooklyn, New York, and grew up on Long Island. He attended the University of Massachusetts, where he obtained a BBA in Accounting and an MBA in Management. He then taught at the college level for several years, where he perfected the art of making complex subjects easy to understand.
