The South Sudanese Community is a chartered 501c3 non-profit organization. We are dedicated to serve the Sudanese Community in various aspects. Our community history of service is one of the oldest and spans over 15 years, beginning with the first influx of Sudanese immigrants arriving to the U.S. in the early 90’s. As a voice for the community we foster relationships with our American friends to advocate, interpret, and mentor for those marginalized in the Sudanese Community.
Advocate on behalf of marginalized Sudanese as a prominent voice to foster cooperation and assistance from local and federal agencies. Interpret between entities to convey clear and concise information regarding health, education, etc. Furthermore, we mentor families through education and tutoring in reference to better assimilation to American life.
