Biden Celebrated Labor Day with Vacation, and the Taliban Holding Americans Hostage

Published

on

Retired Navy admiral and Texas Rep. Ronny Jackson told Newsmaxon Friday that at least seven of his constituents are being held in Afghanistan, calling them hostages unable to leave the country until the Biden administration recognizes the Taliban as the legitimate government of the country.

”They’ve already been manifested on flights,” Jackson, a Republican, said on ”Greg Kelly Reports.” ”The airplanes are there. Everything is ready to go. They can’t get out, and the reason they can’t get out is because the Taliban won’t release the flight until Sept. 9 because they want to be recognized as an official government.

”They want to be officially recognized as a legitimate government. … And I guarantee you these hostages, they’re hostages right now, are being held until the American, until the United States, until the Biden administration recognizes the Taliban as a government.”

he news is replete with examples of corporations and institutions going woke, from Google to Aunt Jemima. Unfortunately, now The Salvation Army is in danger of joining the ranks of Woke Inc.

In materials prepared for its more than 1.5 million members, The Salvation Army uses terms that echo both radical “anti-racism” jargon and the divisive teachings of critical race theory, which divides people into two camps: the oppressors and the oppressed.

And many of this trusted charitable organization’s donors and other supporters aren’t even aware of the change.

Despite being apolitical historically, The Salvation Army has begun to promote political and racial ideologies under the banner of its New York-based International Social Justice Commission since the protests and riots over George Floyd’s death in police custody began over a year ago.

The International Social Justice Commission works on issues involving human rights and justice, from human traffickers to asylum-seekers. But more recently, the commission, launched in 2007, is unhealthily mixing admirable human rights work with politically charged advocacy based in progressive politics.

As many Americans know, The Salvation Army, founded in London in 1865, is a church organized in an “army” structure encompassing “officers,” “soldiers,” and other volunteers. Collectively called Salvationists, they serve the organization and are inspired to perform good deeds on account of their Christian faith.

Early this year, Brian Peddle, general and international leader of The Salvation Army, announced an initiative called “Let’s Talk About Racism,” a curriculum with devotionals, videos, and other materials dedicated to helping Salvationists conduct “courageous conversations about racism.”

Peddle, who is Canadian, says in the video announcement Feb. 9 that the resource would help Salvationists “overcome the damage racism has inflicted upon the world, and yes, The Salvation Army.”

Dear Donald: Letters From A Loving Deplorable.

By

Sandra Mae Lee

Donald Trump has changed my life. I love writing. I’ve always written songs, poems, stories, articles, and plays. “The Donald” inspired me to write my first book. This man has held my attention captive for the last several years. I am not just listening, I am driven to listen, watch and observe every political and personal move. Why? Do I care more about my country than I ever have? I do.I reminisce about politicians who would urge their voters to do the right thing for the sake of their children and grandchildren. I listened to those pleas and could not relate to them before I had children of my own. I am deeply concerned about the world that they are inheriting. I support Donald Trump’s vision for our country, but there is more. He has inspired something remarkable in me. He seems ageless and tireless as he moves forward. When I feel old and tired, I watch him and shake off those negative feelings and embrace what is young and strong in me.

I juxtapose my life experience to his and find treasures of awareness. He has a past that is imperfect. There are mistakes…big ones. There are failures and disappointments. He lets them go. He sheds them like old skins. He is holy in ways that I am not sure many can articulate. It is easy to magnify his sins, but he is quick to point out his many successes. I watch him forgive himself for his sins and move on embracing that forgiveness. His energy and light are not dimmed by regret or remorse. He is born again moment by moment and so he receives a blessing of renewal. I watch in wonder and I learn.
