TOPIC: Congresswoman Cori Bush Double Standard: Defund for thee, but not me

Rep. Cori Bush said it’s okay that she spends tens of thousands on private police security because she cannot risk her safety but finishes her sentence explaining why police should be defunded. The congresswoman is on defense trying to explain to constituents her contradictions of paying out more than $70,000 of the last few months on personal protection, while telling her constituents they do not need the same protection. The case of do as I say, not as I do is the real pandemic plaguing the Congress and the Washington elites.

“Congresswoman Cory Bush personifies the epitome of what is wrong in Washington, D.C. The political class seriously believes that their importance is greater than Americas true heroes – citizens and first responders.” Michael A Letts, CEO and Founder of InVest USA.

Ms. Bush finished her CNN tirade with “suck it up” to her critics, continuing to say that defunding the police has to happen.

“Defunding police is synonymous with the destruction of America and all of its freedoms.” Explained Letts.

Questions:

  • Do you believe the “defund the police” movement is dying out?
  • Why are many American cities reinstating their law enforcement budgets? Because rising crime in America’s largest cities is forcing municipal leaders to restore police funds or risk economic disaster.
  • What is the one thing these defund the police cities have in common? They’re all run by Democrats who bowed to protesters’ calls to defund the police.
  • The White House is suddenly backpedaling on the ‘defund the police’ message, do you think that means this movement is backfiring on the left?
  • The radical left at the center of the “defund” movement claim that police haven’t solved issues in the cities, but is that their job? Isn’t the job of dealing with community issues in the hand of local lawmakers, not police?GUEST: Michael A Letts is the CEO and Founder of  In-VestUSA, a national grassroots non-profit organization that is helping hundreds of communities provide thousands of bullet-proof vests for their police forces through educational, public relations, sponsorship, and fundraising programs.
