Dr. Jack Caravelli is a former Director of the Department of Energy’s Office of International Material Protection. He has served as assistant deputy administrator and director of the Department of Energy’s Office of International Material Protection and Cooperation since 1999. In this capacity he oversaw the department’s efforts to secure at-risk nuclear and radiological materials in Russia and other parts of the former Soviet Union.
