Linda Rae Anderson has studied and practiced in the field of natural medicine for over forty
years. She had worked as a general practitioner in private practice for 27 years and is
concurrently practicing at an integrated health clinic. Her skills include east/Asian medicine,
including Acupuncture/ Oriental medical modalities and western Natural medicine including,
Botanical medicine, Nutrition, Exercise therapy, etc. As a health educator she facilitates
“Wellness Groups” at a men’s residential substance abuse re-hab and recovery facility. She is
certified in the NADA Protocol, an auricular (ear) acupuncture therapy which is an adjunct
therapy for mental/emotional/substance abuse problems. Through these services, her book
and public speaking she aspires to be part of the solution reaching more people with safe,
effective and economical health-care
Linda’s book “I’m Hopeless, I’m Crazy chronicles her mother’s recovery from a lifetime of
mental illness through Natural Medicine and Integrative Therapies. Linda worked intimately
with her mother for 3 years along with three medical practitioners to regain her mother’s
sanity. There are many twists and turns in the book leading to her mother’s healing and Linda’s
sheer determination, love, devotion and support were crucial components in addition to the
various treatment modalities.
