Whistleblowing:
While working in war zone deputy chief of base one Orta witnessed a subordinate being badly treated and harassed. Pedro Israel Orta took a bullet for the bullied officer. After speaking out about what he had seen Pedro was put on break then told he was not going back to the war zone. Orta’s whistleblowing made it impossible for him to get a follow up jobs gave because he was given a bad performance review which wasn’t true.
