Ron Thomas, the father of Kelly Thomas- mentally ill and homeless man fatally beaten by six Fullerton Police officers, will be available for interview at the the Criminal Courts Building in Santa Ana tomorrow morning, Friday, October 18, during the Pre-Trial motions for ex-Fullerton police officers Manuel Ramos and Jay Cicinelli. They have been charged in connection the tragic incident in 2011. Ron Thomas has become an activist for the rights of the homeless and mentally ill. He has joined acclaimed filmmaker Costa Mantis to make a documentary titled Unnecessary Force, which explores the alarming trend of excessive violence on the part of rogue police officers across the country.
