It has been over two decades since the Internet has become mainstream, after all this time you would think that nearly every business would have an online presence. But in actuality the majority of the small businesses aren’t fully plugged into the Internet – in fact, 59% of them don’t even have a website, according to a GoDaddy survey.

Now the way to reach consumers has turned mobile – with over half (51%) of Americans making online purchases with their smart phones according to Pew Research.

The explosion of mobile usage fundamentally changes what is required to be successful online.
Publishing and managing a website is a key means of accelerating a small business and now has also gone mobile with 20% of websites are created and managed on smart phones and tablets, with 65% of e-commerce sales made form customers’ mobile devices.

During this tour Greg Goldfarb, Small Business Expert, will share insights into how this flexible approach to website building is creating ‘mobile-preneur’ trend-setters, and how they are contributing to the rapid growth of the small business economy in their respective communities. He will also discuss how a modern, mobile-friendly website is the foundation of a small business’ online presence – driving marketing, sales and customer engagement.
