The suspected gunman arrested in connection with Wednesday’s shooting at a Florida high school, which left at least 17 people dead, was identified by the sheriff as 19-year-old Nikolas Cruz.
Officials said the shooter was equipped with a gas mask and smoke grenades — in addition to an AR-15 semi-automatic rifle and multiple magazines — as he allegedly opened fire at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, which Broward County Sheriff Scott Israel said Cruz had been expelled from for disciplinary reasons.–Fox News
