An original artist, an award-winning organist, a dancer with national Team USA and a contestant for Miss Idaho USA, Kristin Hagen was living the dream. But in 1994 at the age of 19, that dream was stolen from her by the violent force of a high-powered airbag. Unbelievably, in 1997 Hagen was injured again when a redesigned airbag deployed, causing her severe injury and debilitation. Powered by her faith and America’s evolving healthcare system, she was able to become truly whole—and mobile—again. In her book, Align Above: My Passionate Dance at Life!, as well as in a related screenplay, she sets out to motivate others on their journeys toward better health.
