WHAT: As a new calendar year begins, your viewers will be taking notes on how to kick it off with a fresh start. Are they confused about where to start? They don’t have to be. From making the most of healthy food choices, to building healthier habits – help your viewers make this the year they keep those resolutions, without breaking the bank.
On January 17, registered dietitian and nutrition expert Sally Kuzemchak will be on hand and available to help navigate the sometimes-overwhelming amount of dietary information out there. Sally will show, tell and discuss some of the top food and nutrition trends along with easy ways to stay on track with healthy commitments, all while saving money.
Specifically, Sally will review:
· Keeping it Simple – You don’t have to go it alone! Sally will share some of her expert meal planning tips and resources for sticking to your healthy eating resolutions for good and showcase easy recipes viewers can create at home, all for under $5 per serving.
· Don’t Break the Bank – Making solid, healthy choices does not have to mean spending more money; Sally will offer advice on seeking out high quality solutions at a low cost.
· Incorporating Trends – From whole grains to organics – Sally will explore some of the top healthy eating trends of 2017.
WHO: Registered Dietitian Sally Kuzemchak has been a member of the ALDI Advisory Council since it was founded in 2014. An educator and author of the “Real Mom Nutrition” blog, Sally encourages families to be active and eat healthier through whole, fresh foods and home-cooked meals. Sally has been published in nearly 20 magazines and newspapers, including Parents, Prevention, Self, Family Circle, Fitness, Shape, Health, Eating Well, Ladies’ Home Journal, and The Chicago Tribune. In 2014, she partnered with Cooking Light on a cookbook for busy families called Dinnertime Survival Guide.
