California requires rideshares to  switch to EV beginning in 2023/Other states may soon follow

The rule starts in 2023 and requiring all rideshare drives to be EV by 2040.
Following President Biden goal to get automakers to move to battery powered vehicles.

“rideshare companies can also get credits to meet state greenhouse gas targets if they invest in “sidewalk and bike lane infrastructure that supports active transportation and connecting to transit through integrated trip booking apps,”–Forbes
