Former pageant queen, fashion model, and wife of a professional basketball player, Christine seemed to have it all. From outward measurements, she seemed to be the embodiment of the American dream.

But, the truth is that she was unhappy, insecure, and broken. She struggled with the ability to see her own beauty and value, and allowed herself to be in an unhealthy and abusive marriage. She lost sight of herself, and existed to please others.

Of course, it is impossible to live like that for very long. After suffering extreme stress, her body shut down and she found herself in the hospital. Thirty days and three surgeries later, she was finally able to go home. She was physically healed, but emotionally drained.

Her story is that of her road from brokenness to wholeness, healing on the inside from a very hard divorce and physical illness to inner strength, joy, and peace. Her book documents her journey and offers support and advice for others going through similar experiences.
