It’s time we address the elephant in the room at every health care conference

I attended a major health care conference this week where the major topic of discussion, aside from the usual buzzwords, was the health data interoperability problem.
The health care system is unavoidable — we’re all patients or caregivers at some point — and we will all have to deal with medical records that cannot be shared.
There may be a light at the end of the tunnel — major tech companies, who have less incentive to maintain the status quo, are starting to look at the problem.–CNBC
