Do the Math. Senate Republicans may be in the Minority in their own Party.

Conventional wisdom and mathematics will have it that the Republicans retained control of the US Senate for the 115th Congress. After all the final count was 52 Republicans and 46 Democrats right? Wrong. Let’s re-calculate the math. There are two “independents” in the US Senate. One a committed Socialist in Bernie Sanders and the other Angus King who is to the left of Dianne Feinstein. Both of these “independents” also caucus with the Democrats. So now we are at 52-48.

But…not so fast, we must take into account at least 4 RINO Republicrats in John McCain, Lindsey Graham, Jeff Flake, and Susan Collins. They will vote against President Trump’s agenda. So we could see votes at 52 voting with Democrats and 48 with Republicans.

But…we are not done yet…We can not forget vindictive and revengeful “Never Trumper” Senators like Ted Cruz, Ben Sasse, and Rand Paul either. Those 3 alone could put a Senate vote at 55 to 45, a far cry from what wishful thinking Republicans are saying.

Now does the picture look a little clearer? Even before the first vote, Republicans potentially are in the Minority in their own party because some they refuse to Make America Great Again.

Oh, but you may say, there’s got to be a handful of conservative Democrats out there, right?

Name one.
