About Jews Can Shoot:

Founded as an initiative from the Children of Jewish Holocaust Survivors organization,

founded by Doris Wise Montrose in 2005, Jews Can Shoot is a pro-gun activist group that is

fighting an ever increasing desire by government authorities to limit or ban gun ownership

by citizens. JCS is offering beginner and intermediate defensive gun training classes in an

effort to educate those who have been reluctant or intimidated by the prospect of owning and

operating a firearm. Previous speakers for Children of Jewish Holocaust Survivors and Jews

Can Shoot, such as David Kopel, demonstrated that an unarmed citizenry is easily preyed

upon by tyrannical governments often leading to mass slaughter or genocide. The American

Revolution was sparked by farmers who took their muskets off the mantle above the fireplace

and fired on British troops at Lexington and Concord, and now the United States is the only

country in the world with a Constitution that guarantees citizens the Right to own firearms.

The Nazis confiscated firearms from the Jews which preceded the Holocaust and slaughter and

genocide of six million Jews.
