How has living with multiple sclerosis (MS) changed over the years? Thanks to continued research, the past decade has ushered in a variety of new treatment options to help people living with MS take control. Together, in discussion with their healthcare providers, these individuals can not only treat the disease, but also find treatments that fit within their lifestyle.

Ann Bass, MD from the Neurology Center of San Antonio—who also serves on the Medical Advisory Board for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society—is available to offer valuable information on MS treatment and disease management advances. Dr. Bass was part of the clinical trials for a groundbreaking MS treatment, which is celebrating one year since its approval, and has first-hand knowledge of the ways newer treatments can help people living with MS. About Ann Bass, MD:
Ann Bass, MD, is in private practice with the Neurology Center of San Antonio (NCSA), PA, and she’s the medical director of the NCSA Infusion Center in San Antonio, Texas. Dr. Bass is also the president of NCSA and has been board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology since 2002. She specializes in multiple sclerosis (MS) and Parkinson’s disease, with over 1000 MS patients and 500 Parkinson’s patients under her care and management. Dr. Bass was also involved in various clinical trials, including those for LEMTRADA® (alemtuzumab). She serves on the Medical Advisory Board for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society (NMSS) and is an active member of the American Academy of Neurology, Texas Neurological Society, Bexar County Medical Society, and Texas Medical Association. In addition to treating her patients, Dr. Bass is a regional and national speaker on various topics regarding MS and Parkinson’s disease.
