It’s My Turn

Being a mom is pretty amazing—from watching your pregnant belly grow and then holding your little one for the first time. And with those memorable moments come changes to your body that may be a little less than amazing. Dr. Tenley Lawton and her patient, Harmony, are here to discuss the changes that can occur to a woman’s body after pregnancy, and a new initiative that encourages women to focus on themselves after all they do for their families. They both will share their personal stories about how the campaign has impacted their lives and potential aesthetic treatment options available to moms.

About Dr. Tenley Lawton:
A board-certified Newport Beach plastic surgeon, Dr. Lawton brings knowledge, compassion and personalized care to each and every procedure. Dr. Lawton has become recognized by her patients for her abilities to provide natural-looking results. Patients never appear over-done or over-processed, but merely refreshed, enhanced and rejuvenated. A mother of two young children, Dr. Lawton offers a unique feminine approach, making patients feel protected, safe and assured they will receive ideal results.
Dr. Lawton was born in Michigan and graduated from Brighton High School. She attended Central Michigan University and finished with a double major in both Biology and Health Fitness. Dr. Lawton earned her doctorate at Wayne State University School of Medicine. Following graduation, she specialized in General Surgery at St Joseph Mercy Hospital in Ann Arbor, Michigan. She then completed a fellowship in Plastic Surgery at Providence Hospital and Medical Center & The Craniofacial Institute in Detroit, Michigan under world renowned Dr. Ian Jackson. The rigorous training program covered all aspects of Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery including cosmetic surgery, breast reconstruction, burns, trauma, hand, post-bariatric reconstruction, cancer reconstruction and the correction of congenital defects.

About Harmony:

Harmony is a busy mom of seven children—three of her own and four inherited through marriage. They’re the real-life Brady Bunch! She juggles taking care of her kids with being a part-time salesperson. Harmony is Dr. Lawton’s patient, and decided it was her turn to take some time for herself and explore the aesthetic treatments available to her.
