TIPS FOR CLEANLINESS AND PERSONAL HYGIENE – BREAKING THE TABOO ABOUT BATHROOM TALK
Earlier this month, the FDA issued a startling report that concluded that there isn’t enough science to show that over-the-counter (OTC) antibacterial soaps are better at preventing illness than washing with plain soap and water. This has opened up a lot of debate about cleanliness and personal hygiene. And as we know, talking about cleanliness – especially when it comes to the bathroom – has always been considered taboo. But the fact is, being clean is extraordinarily important for your wellness. As a result, breaking down the barriers about how we talk about it is necessary. That’s why Dr. Roshini Raj has teamed up with Kohler to give you and your viewers some important tips about cleanliness, including how intelligent toilets can improve personal hygiene and wellness.
With more than 15 years of medical and wellness experience, Dr. Raj understands the common issues people face when it comes to the bathroom. She is the Good Day NY Medical Correspondent (Fox5) and the Medical Editor of Health Magazine. She also contributes regularly to Dr.Oz, CNN, FNC, Inside Edition and several other national shows/networks. On Tuesday, October 11th, Dr. Raj will be available via satellite to talk about the following:
Intelligent Toilets – Intelligent toilets aren’t as common in the US as they are around the world. Dr. Raj will discuss why they aren’t popular here and why they improve wellness.
FDA Antibacterial Soap Debate – Dr. Raj will weigh in on the recent FDA recommendation
Personal Hygiene at Home and On-the-Go – Whether you’re at home or at a hotel for a business trip, Dr. Raj can address how people can stay proactive in their personal hygiene wherever they are.
