Raj, creator of the Psydcar project coins his style as “PAR” … Progressive Acoustic Rock. His blend of post-hardcore and indie rock guitar method, 70’s & 80’s soft rock, and his love for the songwriting of R&B ballads and progressive styled metal shape the musical approach while Eastern philosophy shapes much of the artistic approach. Influenced by the legend of Miyamoto Musashi, Raj uses a mik’ed acoustic instead of an acoustic electric or a pickup. Encouraged by his study of the Gothic Kabbala and his own spiritual understanding, Raj while regarding the warrior mentality given to the guitarist, he also, very much like B.B. King names his guitars …
