About the authors:

Alex Salkever is author, speaker, futurist and technology leader. He has been a senior executive at a number of Silicon Valley startups and technology companies, including Mozilla and Telefonica. He was the technology editor of BusinessWeek, and regular science contributor to the Christian Science Monitor. He has written for dozens of other major publications. He is also the co-author or The Immigrant Exodus with Vivek Wadhwa.

Vivek Wadhwa and Alex Salkever are co-authors of the new book, The Driver in the Driverless Car: How Our Technology Choices Will Create the Future. Vivek Wadhwa is a distinguished fellow at Carnegie Mellon University’s College of Engineering and a Director of Research at Duke University’s Pratt School of Engineering. He is a globally syndicated columnist for the Washington Post and the author of two other books, including The Immigrant Exodus, which was named by the Economist as a 2012 Book of the Year.
