The term “Flowitry” is a portmanteau thought to be created by P Dallas during a freestyle session. The two blended words being flowing and poetry. Later it was found that there were already other people using the term flowitry as well, but all have different spellings. Giving credit where credit is due, the first found flowitry was a female R&B group called “floetry” and although there are others, as far as history goes, they seem to be the first to use the word.
