PUBLIUS SPECIAL GUEST: Orit Hodarkovsky, is a New York professional who launched the grassroots campaign called, I Got Vaxxed Apparel.

A new public awareness campaign is being launched to help educate Americans on the importance of the vaccinations and combat conspiracy theories surrounding the safety of COVID-19 vaccine. 

Orit Hodarkovsky, a New Yorker who witnessed first-hand the scourge that COVID-19 has on underserved communities, launched I Got Vaxxed Apparel, to help spread the word about the safety of the new vaccinations.   With recent reports showing vaccine scepticism, and misinformation about the vaccine’s side effects on social media, Orit seeks to reassure public confidence in the immunization while helping communities in need. 

Proceeds from I Got Vaxxed Apparel will be given to the regions hardest-hit by COVID-19 both across the United States and globally.    The organization will partner with local heroes providing them with shirts, hats, and other trendy clothing to help support the largest vaccination effort in a century.

“Our front-line heroes and early recipients of the vaccine are key to growing public support for the vaccination.  After learning that many of these heroes are getting nothing but a vaccine card or a sticker, I thought that we needed something better to show just how many of us are taking the vaccine and helping get society back to ‘normal.’   With this new public awareness campaign and charitable effort, I hope to bring people together behind this effort and help those who were devastated by the toll of the coronavirus,” said Orit Hodarovsky, Founder, I Got Vaxxed Apparel.
