The TV personality and mother of two joins Nestlé Toll House for the next 100 days as they team up with six inspirational bakers from diverse backgrounds and equip them with all the tools, ingredients and a kitchen space in Chicago to bring this promise to life through its #BakeSomeGood campaign. Each day, for 100 days, the Nestlé Toll House Bakers will be baking to brighten someone’s day, support national non-profits and reach out to the Chicago community. Lachey shares her best kitchen tips and tricks to encourage you to join the journey of baking the world a better place in your local neighborhood and region.
About Vanessa Lachey:
As the winner of the 1998 “Miss Teen USA” pageant, Lachey (then Minnillo) was awarded the title and honor of Miss Congeniality 1998. She later went on to serve as a backstage correspondent for “The 50th Annual Miss USA Pageant” in 2001, a judge for “Miss Teen USA” in 2003, a host for “Miss Teen USA” in 2004, a judge for “Miss Teen USA” in 2007 and co-host of the 2007 “Miss Universe Pageant” in Mexico City.
In 2003, Lachey started at MTV Networks where she served as co-host for “Total Request Live” and “MTV Hits.” She hosted several MTV specials including “MTV’s Prom Date,” “The Real World San Diego Reunion” and “Spring Break Celebrity Fantasies.” In 2002, Lachey hosted the UK crossover hit “Top of the Pops” for The WB and she hosted the live finale of UPN’s “The Road to Stardom with Missy Elliott.”
For two seasons, Lachey was the New York-based correspondent for “Entertainment Tonight,” the #1 syndicated entertainment newsmagazine in the world. During her time with “Entertainment Tonight,” Lachey reported on the latest news regarding music, film, television and fashion.
Lachey is currently filming the NBC comedy pilot “Not Safe for Work,” starring opposite Michael Cassidy and Christine Woods. The politically incorrect office comedy centers on best friends Dale (Cassidy) and Georgie (Woods) whose relationship is upended when he starts dating the “perfect” woman, Drea (Lachey), the perky local morning news anchor who is self-conscious about maintaining her image.
Vanessa just wrapped the T.V. Land pilot FIRST WIVES CLUB opposite Alyson Hannigan and Megan Hilty for director Betty Thomas. She recently wrapped the NBC pilot SEBASTIAN opposite Sebastian Maniscalco. She starred in the FOX comedy “Dads” executive produced by Seth MacFarlane (“Family Guy,” “Ted”), and was on the NBC series TRUTH BE TOLD opposite Mark-Paul Gosselaar last season.
She most recently starred in the FOX comedy “Dads” executive produced by Seth MacFarlane (“Family Guy,” “Ted”). “Dads” is centers around two successful guys in their 30’s that have their lives turned upside down when their nightmare Dads unexpectedly move in with them.
Lachey’s additional television credits include co-hosting the popular ABC Series “Wipeout”, as well as appearing as a co-host on the reality show “True Beauty.” She also guest starred in “Hawaii Five O,” “30 Rock,” “How I Met Your Mother,” “CSI:NY,” and USA’s “Psych.”
Lachey’s silver screen credits include Fox’s FANTASTIC FOUR: RISE OF THE SILVER SURFER, and Lionsgate’s DISASTER MOVIE.
