Former U.S. Marine and Top Selling Author of “Never Ending Battle After Iraq – A Marines Road to Recovery”

Bryan Carpenter

We often hear about Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) being associated with the armed forces, but we do not hear how it affects their everyday life. PTSD affects 1 in 8 soldiers, but less than half of those soldiers sought out the help that was necessary to combat the demons they face. Most cited this due to the fear of it harming their military career or the negative connotations that come with being diagnose with PTSD.

PTSD is not something that one can overcome so easily, treatment is necessary to help these soldiers battle the symptoms they face. PTSD will affect every aspect of their life until they gain the proper treatment and begin to work through the obstacles they face.

Former U.S. Marine Bryan Carpenter uses his book “Never Ending Battle After Iraq – A Marines Road to Recovery” not only as a therapy to himself, but to inspire others that the unbelievable is ALWAYS possible. He is available for interviews and can answer the following questions:

What is PTSD?
Why is there such a negative connotation surrounding soldiers and PTSD?
Why isn’t there mandatory psychiatric testing for soldiers returning from the battlefront?
What are the signs or symptom associated with PTSD?
