Breaking

Due to situations with Raymond Woods and Dnero (obligations that crept up and a death in the family , respectfully) , they will not be able to appear on tonight’s show – We wish nothing but the best for D’nero in his time of sadness, and we’ll be working on getting both him and Mr. Woods back on soon!

5:00pm – Anthony Gomes : Born in Toronto, Canada, to a Portuguese father and a French-Canadianmother, Gomes began playing guitar in his early teens and was drawn to the blues sounds of B.B. King, Buddy Guy, Eric Clapton and Jimi Hendrix. While he honed his skills in the blues bars at night, Gomes earned a Master’s Degree from the University of Toronto focusing on the ‘Racial Evolution of Blues Music’.

5:30pm – The Veer Union :The Veer Union was formed in 2004 by vocalist Crispin Earl and guitarist Eric Schreaeder. Originally from Port Alberni on Vancouver Island, the two longtime friends and neighbors had a common bond. “We had played in bands together and we were both living out of our rehearsal studios in downtown East Vancouver,” recalls Crispin.

6:15pm – D’Nero : Rapper/Audio Engineer/Producer/Songwriter D’nero started writing at the age of 11, and was recording in a professional recording studio by 15. He pushed his career to the next level after obtaining positive feedback by A&R Vakseen of Slip- N-Slide Records back in 2007. With influences like 50 Cent, Lloyd Banks, Eminem, Dipset, Jagged Edge, Jay-Z & Notorious B.I.G., his variety in music brings a complete package to the table, being able to switch to any style of urban music, even as far as Rock.

6:30pm – Scenic Roots is a sister duo which combines old- time mountain melodies, bluegrass drive, Irish traditions, and down-home humor. They will take you on a scenic journey as they weave their many musical influences together to create a unique blend of roots music. You’ll feel like you’ve gone back in time to the days when folks gathered on front porches to play and sing together.
