Founded by Joey L. Dowdy, a seasoned performer and motivational expert, the company is dedicated to helping individuals live their best lives through the art and joy of dance.

At the heart of Get Up & Groove Ent LLC’s mission is Joey L. Dowdy’s personal journey of resilience and triumph over adversity. Despite facing multiple health challenges, including hip replacement surgery, heart attack, and a recent diagnosis with Myelofibrosis, a rare bone marrow cancer, Joey has continued to inspire audiences worldwide with his infectious energy and commitment to wellness.

“I thank God for his grace and mercy that I’m still here,” says Joey L. Dowdy. “My mission is to share my story and help others find their passion through movement and dance.”
