WHAT: The holiday season is upon us, and while we all plan for a festive celebration, your viewers/listeners are likely to become increasingly concerned with cost. Between preparing delicious meals and entertaining guests, we often need a reminder that the details can make or break the evening –from menu selection to festive wine pairings – we are all looking for a memorable and stress-free celebration.
On Wednesday, Dec. 6, certified sommelier Leslee Miller will be on hand and available to show, tell and demo her holiday food and wine pairing tips. What can seem like an overwhelming topic for many, Leslie will offer insight into the selection process, while providing recommendations that don’t break the bank.
Leslee will introduce viewers/listeners to her easy-to-follow wine pairing process for all types of parties – from wine & cheese night to a more formal dinner. Specifically, Leslee will show/tell/demo:
1) Professional Pairing – Impress friends and family with pairing tips for each course – from appetizers to desserts, Leslee will talk viewers/listeners through the perfect match
2) Red vs White – When it comes to wine, much confusion surrounds the topic of red vs white. Leslee will guide viewers through this detail, and add some explanation behind these choices
3) The Gift of Giving – Leslee will offer hostess gift tips that won’t break the bank
WHO: Leslee Miller – Leslee Miller is a dually certified Sommelier through the International Sommelier Guild and the Court of Master Sommeliers. She is the sole owner of wine consulting firm, Amusée, founded in 2004 and based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She is also the co-founder and owner of national wine club, Sip Better, founded in 2017. Currently, Leslee shares her expertise, experience and passion for the industry within a number of different settings across the globe. From the roots of the wine world and love for the traditionalists view to the most current trends, Leslee’s focus in the industry has always been education, community, farming, wine-growing families and experience.
