By just staying in a resort or hotel you will have a nice time, but one might gain some of the reasons for traveling itself: to experience other cultures, lifestyles and people. While exercising a healthy of prudence, a “whole world of new memories is waiting to be created around the next corner, along the next block, just down the road, through that mountain pass, or around that patch of rocks past the beach,” says Susan Reder.
