Richard Stone, MS:
Richard is the Chief Innovation Officer of Synensis, a healthcare consulting firm dedicated to helping hospitals achieve zero preventable harm, and is a nationally recognized speaker on the power of storytelling. Over the last 20 years he has developed story-based programs for team building, leadership development, and diversity training for hospitals, and has worked nationally with hospice volunteers and staff through his program Journey Into the Healing Power of Storytelling. Rick is also the author of three books: The Healing Art of Storytelling, Stories: The Family Legacy, and The Kingdom of Nowt, as well as the publisher of the award winning board game Pitch-A-Story. Prior to joining Synensis, he was the StoryAnalytics Master for the IDEAS Innovation team where he co-created StoryCare, an innovative program for driving behavioral change among staff to improve patient safety and satisfaction.
