My name is Jake Gustafson, a hip-hop artist and producer based out of Minneapolis, MN. My self-produced debut album ‘Borderline’ was recently released on 3/25/16 and I was hoping to reach out to various radio stations that I think some of the content might be a good fit for, including KJAG.

I would describe the album sound as an eclectic mix of my personal influences, ranging from classical to EDM to 90s style hip-hop. The album was written, recorded, produced, mixed, and mastered by myself in my private studio in south Minneapolis. It features the singles ‘Drive’ and ‘Arms Held High,’ the former being the subject of my first music video project released late in 2014 (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XTMSgE5ZJhk).

The album release show occurred last Friday on 4/2/16 at the Nomad World Pub (Minneapolis) and I am now looking for more performing opportunity around the region. Along with prospective upcoming performances, I continue to work in my studio and am currently slated to have another EP due later this year. I would love to talk to you more about this project and what’s next for myself as an artist if there is interest.
