Joe Franklin is one of the founders of National Disabled Veteran Business Council and serves as the Chairman.. Joe has been with the NDVBC since September of 2007 with the goal of creating a single point resource for service connected disabled veteran owned business, veteran owned business and the veteran military friendly employee recruitment community on a National, State, County and City level.
Joe has almost 20 years of leadership positions serving the Veteran Community. Joe created the first Veteran Workshop recognized by the State of New York, which also became the second one recognized at the National level. Joe Franklin was the driving force and responsible for changing legislation in the State of New York to assist Disabled Veteran Workshops and worked on modifying national legislation to enable Service Disabled Veteran Owned Businesses. Joe is a Retired U.S. Army reserve officer and the last commander of the 423rd Medevac unit.
