John Kerry Admits Climate Change, Like COVID, is About Transforming the Economy

US Special Presidential Envoy for Climate John Kerry discusses the changing tone of political debate in America, US leadership around the world, and calls climate change “the largest economic opportunity and transformation since the industrial revolution.” He speaks at the World Economic Forum’s annual meeting on “Bloomberg Surveillance.”

Of the roughly 270 panels Monday through Thursday, one-third are about climate change or its direct effects. U.S. climate envoy John Kerry, Ugandan climate activist Vanessa Nakate and Alok Sharma, president of last year’s international climate conference COP26, are among the climate leaders expected in the Swiss resort town of Davos.
