Barbara Floyd Jones has more than twenty years of experience in the housing and community development field. A successful event strategist and coordinator, she has been recognized by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, the HOPE Now Alliance and the U.S. Department of Agriculture for her contributions and efforts towards affordable and sustainable homeownership.
Beginning in October 2008, Ms. Jones took on the role as program manager focusing on local foreclosure prevention efforts for NeighborWorks® America. In this capacity, she works with distract staff, local and national partners to produce a variety of foreclosure prevention outreach efforts. In addition to managing foreclosure prevention efforts, Barbara has managed two national foreclosure education and awareness campaigns.
Ms. Jones is recognized as a national expert on foreclosure and loan modification scams. She has been the featured guest on nationally-syndicated TV and radio shows such as Growing Bolder, the Tom Joyner Morning Show, the Yolanda Adams Morning Show, and the James Fortune Show. She has been heard on over 400 radio stations nationwide. She has also done media interviews with the Washington Post, Forbes.com, AOL.com, and many local publications.
