Lorna was a federal prosecutor for over twenty-five years in the same United States Attorney’s Office that created the kids for cash scandal. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry and another in History – Political Science with a minor in Theatre Arts from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute; a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Bridgeport School of Law (now Quinnipiac School of Law); and a Master of Laws (in taxation) from New York University School of Law.
Lorna served on the Dean’s Advisory Board for the Wilkes University Law School Planning Initiative. She taught legal writing at New York Law School and published an article in the Albany Law Review.
Prior to becoming a lawyer Lorna was an actress in New York City where she dabbled in stand-up comedy. After moving to Pennsylvania she purchased 80 acres of land, built a horseback riding facility and showed horses from 1988 until 1998.
