the Japanese bombed Pearl Harbor (75 years ago exactly Dec. 7,
this Wednesday) – she can relate the impact of that event on her native country and the world

she can also talk about World War I – her father was an Australian war hero during that conflict (she’ll tell you more about him)

she is, naturally, a great crusader for world peace

she came to the U.S. in 1966 to pursue her education at schools in Calif., receiving her Phd. in 1982, and has been residing in So. Calif, ever since, writing books and plays, one of which, “ANZAC,” is an epic on war and peace — ask her to tell you more about ANZAC — “We’ve got to move beyond guns and violence,” is one of her credos (ask her what we must do to live in a world of peace)

she has been a student of Aristotle, who has greatly influenced her writings — ask her in what ways — who else has inspired her?
