At 22 years old, Amy Dixon lost her sight, and as a result, chose to change the path she had set out on. Later in her life, Amy would face another obstacle – learning that she had irritable bowel syndrome.

Always an active person, Amy loved hiking, swimming and biking. Her passion for pursuing an active lifestyle soon led Amy to find her purpose and life’s work – training to become a para-triathlete. Armed with the same determination she used to face her conditions, Amy worked and trained tirelessly to be able to compete at the highest level – hoping to inspire along the way.

Today, Amy is a world champion paratriathlete competing on the world ITU Paratriathlon Circuit and is determined to share her story of perseverance!
