I have 13-year US Navy veteran and Republican nominee for California’s 43rd District, Joe Collins, available to discuss his lawsuit that was recently filed against Maxine Waters, in response to the massive smear campaign she launched claiming that Collins, an honorably discharged Navy veteran, was instead “dishonorably discharged” from service.
Check out Joe Collins on Fox Business.
IMPORTANCE:
*Waters’ campaign committee has been funding and distributing a hit piece via campaign collateral, radio advertisements, and other means stating that Collins was “dishonorably discharged”, an easily disproved allegation that has caused Joe to serve her with a lawsuit for defamation.
*Joe spent most of his adult life in the US Navy, bravely serving his country, while Maxine Waters has spent the past 30 years in Congress, while many of her constituents struggle for better lives. *A simple search of Naval records proves Waters’ attack is false.
*For such a senior member of Congress to knowingly smear a veteran with a lengthy career in the US military in an effort to deceive voters into voting against him, it is not only a clear violation of the law, but shows how unworthy she is to hold that office.
The Major Point:
This is not simply a negative campaign attack. Maxine Waters has knowingly attempted to assassinate the character of an honorable man who served his country, and as a result, she insults the US Armed Forces by extension. This sort of behavior needs to be exposed, and Joe can help shed light on what has transpired.
About Joe:
Joe’s passion to serve others started at an early age and earned him the nickname “GI Joe.” Ironically, he was always intrigued by the Military and Prominent Leaders like George Bush, Ronald Reagan, George W. Bush, and John F. Kennedy.
Joe made the most important decision of his first step into adulthood. He was going to follow in the footsteps of the men he admired so greatly; Joe Collins joined the US Navy. Serving 13 and a half successful years as an Aviation Machinist Mate, Joe Collins worked and trained thousands of sailors on many types of aircraft including the F-18 Super Hornet, E6 Mercury, and the MH60 Sea-hawk.
With the help of the US Navy, he also became a licensed financial professional. Joe’s passion to help others also came in the form of becoming a Certified Counselor for rape and sexual assault victims As a sailor in the US Navy, Joe served during the successful campaign, “Operation Iraqi Freedom”. He also served in the recruiting duty area, where he earned numerous honors and awards. This was a role Joe enjoyed immensely, as he had the pleasure of jumpstarting the future careers for many of our young American leaders of today.
