It’s been said we spend a third of our life sleeping, but so many of us
have trouble falling asleep and staying asleep. Let’s ask our guest
how she feels about that–T.S., what’s your reaction to the problems
we have falling asleep?
Your book covers a lot of territory. I like the title, “Lights Out: Sleep,
Sugar and Survival”,…let’s tackle one subject at a time.
First: sleep–do you feel 9-plus hours of sleep a night is what we should
all strive for? Why is it that so many of us have a tough time just falling
asleep? Do we go to bed too late? Are we eating the wrong foods before
bedtime? Are we exercising the wrong way if we do exercise shortly before
going to sleep?
What’s the best advice you can give us?
I see you wrote the book with Dr. Bent Formby–how did that work out? What
was your research mostly on and what was his?
You cover so much ground in your book…”Lights Out”–it’s not just about a
good night’s sleep. You tell us how to lose weight…so please tell us.
You tell us how to curb our craving for carbohydrates? Why is is this important
for our daily health?
By golly, you even tell us how to eradicate depression…please tell us simply.
And how to lower our blood pressure and stress levels…we have a few moments now
for your sage advice…so it’s all yours.
What about diabetes, especially Reverse Type II? Fill us in, please
