Kate Sandoval Box is currently the Beauty Director at SHAPE magazine, where she writes and edits stories about skin, hair, makeup and nails for active, busy readers. She has also been a beauty editor at SELF, Latina, Cosmopolitan, and O, The Oprah Magazine. At SELF, she won a Gold Rose Award from the Women’s Dermatologic Society in recognition for her work on covering the topic of skin cancer. Originally from New Mexico, Kate currently lives in Hoboken, New Jersey with her husband and 1-year-old son.
