Legendary INXS Lead Singer’s Unreleased Solo Song Now Available for

the First Time through Fashion Designer Astrella’s MUSICAL T’s™

Michael Hutchence’s first solo recording to be released in 15 years will be exclusively

available via Fashion Designer Astrella’s Next MUSICAL T’s™ Design Crafted By

Pop & Graffiti Artist Miguel Paredes

Los Angeles, CA – Iconic INXS Lead Singer, Michael Hutchence, will forever be in the hearts and

dance moves of fans across the world. Although known for his hit band songs “Need You Tonight” and

“Never Tear Us Apart,” he also embarked on many solo projects. In a partnership with fashion designer

Astrella, daughter to folk rock singer Donovan, Hutchence’s first solo recording to be released in 15

years will now be available through her famed hybrid, t-shirt collection known as MUSICAL T’s™.

MUSICAL T’s™ is a crossbreed of fashion, music, art, design, technology, and philanthropy to create an

entirely unique, multi-faceted clothing experience. Working with 100% organic fabrics and lovingly

handmade in Hollywood, C.A., the collection reimagines iconic album artwork, while simultaneously

allowing consumers to download the full album or song associated with the t-shirt design by scanning the

digital gate (NFC or QR Code) and opting in with a unique PIN provided at purchase. The content is

available exclusively to those who purchase the t-shirts and download the album.

Previously unreleased and available only through this package, Michael Hutchence’s song “Friction”

will be available for pre-order on Tuesday, April 21st via Sales will officially

begin September 1, 2015. The “Friction” MUSICAL T’s™ was designed by internationally recognized

graffiti and pop artist Miguel Paredes. The song came from his recording sessions in 1995, before his

tragic death, to create a solo record with music producers Danny Saber and Andy Gill.

Saber said, “I’m stoked that Michael’s song will be released through Astrella’s collection. Michael and I

really loved working together. I think he would be pleased to see his music dropped through a concept so

revolutionary. The music world has had economic hits due to the changing landscape of marketing in the

industry and this unique idea is just what we needed.”
