As the world grapples with the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, Author & Apologist Alex McFarland offers hope and prayer for the nation and the world. McFarland says, “we thank God also for medical professionals around the world, tirelessly working to find a vaccine and other weapons for fighting the spread of this disease.”

McFarland states:
The medical and cultural implications of the corona virus is unlike anything that most people have ever experienced. Months- and even up until a few weeks ago- very few saw this worldwide ‘moment’ coming. But no matter what this fallen world throws at us, people everywhere may be confident that God cares, God has the power to help us, and He will hear our prayers.

I applaud our President designating March 15 to be a national day of prayer- and I urge people everywhere to participate. Call out to the Lord- open your heart to Him, and He will hear. Jesus Christ is humanity’s refuge of love, care, forgiveness, restoration and healing. I am so thankful that America’s current President- just as our nation’s Founders frequently did- boldly calls this country to turn to God.

We thank God also for medical professionals around the world, tirelessly working to find a vaccine and other weapons for fighting the spread of this disease.

May God heal all who are currently infected;
May God miraculously intervene to stop the spread of this;
May God give the medical community supernatural wisdom and strength;
May God give world leaders wise and benevolent hearts;
May God help those who are now suffering financially because of the corona pandemic;
And may God bring ultimate good from what is now and undeniably tragic situation.
